Designed to be used in the field by infantry or other military personnel, the Marathon General Purpose Quartz (GPQ) is built to the strict military standards and made from high-impact fibreshell, which does not sacrifice quality or durability while keeping weight low. The fibershell case has a passive matte finish that aids in protecting infantry positions as this finish does not provide a reflective surface which would occur on a normal metal case.
